DRA. María Gárgoles Navas

PhD Cum Laude in Fine Arts with international mention from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She completed her doctoral thesis with a pre-doctoral FPU contract from the Ministry of Universities. Graduated in Fine Arts (UCM) with a Master's Degree in Research in Art and Creation (UCM) and a Master's Degree in Teacher Training (UCM). She is currently lecturer and coordinator of the Department of Audiovisual and Graphic Creation at UDIT. She has worked in institutions such as the Complutense Institute of International Studies or the Reina Sofía Museum. Her research experience focuses on embodied cognition processes that emerge during the virtual experience. In particular, user experience (UX) in multimedia applications and virtual environments (VR, AR and MR). He has developed his research in centres such as Digital Media and Interaction Research Centre (University of Aveiro). In addition, she has participated in national and international funded projects and is the author of several book chapters and articles in indexed journals. She has participated as a speaker in national and international conferences.
