More than 40 UDIT students attend the latest edition of Selected Bilbao
As every year, the city of Bilbao has hosted Selected Inspiration, an event in which sharing ideas and contributing to collective creativity become the main objectives.
In this edition, more than 40 students from the Degrees in Multimedia and Graphic Design and Audiovisual Design and Illustration, the Bachelor in Multimedia and Graphic Design, as well as the Master in Graphic Design from UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, had the opportunity to travel to the Basque city to experience the talent of professionals in the sector and experience first-hand the different activities and visits organised for the occasion.
Conferences and visits to promote design and culture
During the two days of the event, the students had the opportunity to attend, in the emblematic building that houses the Bilbao Philharmonic Society, different talks and conferences given by some of the great professionals of graphic design and visual arts.
Manuel Estrada, UDIT lecturer Jorge Chamorro, or the designers of Unplugged, were some of the creatives that the students had the opportunity to listen to in person.
An exceptional visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Stone&Wood awards ceremony, in which Adriana Ortega, a student in the final year of the Multimedia and Graphic Design Degree at UDIT, was recognised as the winner for her project Gyotako; as well as Pedro Infante and Jaime Cañas, students of the same degree, for their projectsFORTRIP: The city in 40 cards and HISPANIX, respectively, concluded the agenda of activities planned for the occasion.
