What is the recommended entry profile?
This master's degree is aimed atprofiles with previous training in areas such as design, fine arts, architecture, audiovisual communication, marketing or journalism, among other related disciplines. To gain access, it isessential to have previous knowledge of tools and basic notions of design. If you do not have this base, you will have to take specific training complements before starting the programme.
The admissions process carefully evaluates each application to ensure that all participants are prepared to meet the challenges of this advanced master's programme. This ensures that the academic environment is demanding, inspiring and enriching for all involved.

Syllabus
The syllabus consists of 60 ECTS credits and lasts for one year.
Our courses are demanding and professionalizing. In order to access the Master in Graphic Design and follow the classes you must have a previous level in digital and audiovisual techniques and tools (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and AdobeInDesign). After the interview with the Master's director, if you do not have the knowledge in any of these, you will be recommended two complementary courses of 6 ECTS each that you must take before the start of the classes.

Come and visit us
Arrange a visit to our Madrid campus from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00 hours, sign up for the Open Days we hold on Saturdays or the online information sessions.
Take the entrance exam
To assess your academic skills and make sure you are up to the challenge, you will take a placement test.
Formalise your enrolment
Once you have taken the test and have been informed of your admission to UDIT, you must book your enrolment to guarantee your place for the next course. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The master's degree is recommended for creative graduates with a graphic or project-based component and different training (from general design degrees to degrees in Product Design, Fashion, Interior Design, Animation, Video Games, Digital Art, Interactive Products, Architecture, Fine Arts or Information Sciences in the fields of Audiovisual Communication or Advertising). It is also aimed at graduates trained in professions other than the creative professions who work in creative environments and want a full and versatile training rather than one focused solely on learning professional technical tools.

If you do not have the necessary prior knowledge for the development of the Master's Degree in Graphic Design , you must take one of the following 6ECTS training complements.
1. Graphic Applications - 6 ECTS
You will learn and apply the functionalities of vector design with Adobe Illustrator, image retouching and transformation with Adobe Photoshop and text editing and processing with Adobe InDesign .
2. Digital and Audiovisual Applications - 6 ECTS
You will acquire a mastery of the interface design tool Figma and the prototyping tools Marvel and Invision. In addition, you will learn and apply the functionalities of the audiovisual creation tools Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition.
After assessing the candidate, the director of the Master's programme will recommend the need to take this additional training course.
The market currently demands versatile designers capable of tackling complex design projects that require the knowledge and use of any technique and multimedia support.
In addition, market trends and the needs of companies have made brand value and branding, 360º advertising and UX/UI design (among others) become a fundamental aspect of their activity, growing in importance in the structures of large organisations.
Yes, this Master can be subsidised by FUNDAE. Check with our admissions department for all the details. FUNDAE is a public company that manages the funds destined to the training programmed by the companies that will be able to make effective by means of bonuses in their contributions to the Social Security. They favour the access, by means of subsidies, to free and quality training for all workers.
Adobe programmes are installed on the computers set up for this purpose in the classrooms. From the 2025-26 academic year, all UDIT students will have an Adobe Creative Cloud licence that they can use on any device, inside or outside the University.
In the Master in Graphic Design you will have the opportunity to carry out several projects, we give you the example of Malena Fernández, alumni of the Master in Graphic Design at UDIT, in which she tells us about her experience doing her TFM "Grieta", a cultural collective focused on young people who are dedicated to finding new ways of relating to museums, exhibitions and art galleries.
