Masterclass by David Chumilla: Creating Props and the Hard Surface technique for AAA Videogames

On the occasion of the launch of the new Master's Degree in AAA Video Game Modelling and Texturing at UDIT, the online masterclass "Props Creation and the Hard Surface technique for AAA Video Games" will take place next Wednesday 28th June at 18.00 hours, led by the teacher David Chumilla.
During the session, David Chumilla will show the process that is carried out from the conceptualisation of the props to the final details, as well as the programs that are used during the masterclass. This hands-on approach aims to give students a clear and tangible understanding of how props are developed in a professional environment, as well as the skills and techniques they will need to succeed in the industry.
About David Chumilla
David Chumilla began his career in 2015 at Playground Games, a well-known video game development company where he played the role of environment artist. During his time at Playground Games, he also had the opportunity to contribute his skills to the development of the acclaimed video game Forza Horizon 3.
In 2017, David joined Elite3D, where he expanded his experience as a Generalist 3D Artist. At Elite3D, David contributed to large-scale projects such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, OVERKILL's The Walking Dead, Need for Speed Heat, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. His versatility and technical knowledge allowed him to participate in these highly visible and industry renowned AAA projects.
Currently, David is co-founder of Stonelake3D, a company that specialises in providing AAA 3D solutions and outsourcing services for video games, vfx, entertainment and heritage preservation. With Stonelake3D, David seeks to continue to create and enhance digital worlds and provide high quality services that meet the needs of the ever evolving entertainment industry and beyond.
