About us
UDIT is the first and only University specialising in Design, Innovation and Technologyin Spain and represents the culmination of more than 20 years of the educational project of the prestigious ESNE University School of Design.

A private university based in Madrid.
Our campus has more than21,000 square metresspread over three buildings. We have more than 3,000 students who live their passion for design and technology in all possible specialisations in the classrooms and facilities.
In the academic year 2024-2025 our institution has grown with a new and spectacular Campus dedicated to welcome all the students of the degrees of theareas of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences of the University.
WHERE ARE WE?
Located on one of the city's main arteries, Calle Alcalá, the new Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences Campus will incorporate 7,000 new state-of-the-art m2 in addition to the nearly 14,000 m2 of buildings already in operation on the Design and Creative Industries Campus.
Our students and the University have won more than 300 national and international awards, including the National Design Award, presented in 2020 by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, and the Education and Training Award, granted by the Community of Madrid in 2025, at the Madrid Open Cities Awards.

More than 3,000 students enrol each year in the different programmes that cover the three main levels of higher education: CFGS, Graduate and Postgraduate. All our programmes have a global focus and practical application and are aligned and connected to the industries and the changing world of creative professions through constant collaboration with experts, companies and institutions.
In addition to educational excellence, we are interested inapplied research focused on sustainability and the collaborative and circular economy.

- Pearson is the largestAwarding Body authorised by the British government to develop educational programmes in accordance with DfES (Department for Education and Skills) guidelines. Pearson is duly constituted under UK legislation and directly regulated by the UK Government through the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, QCA. Pearson is committed to education from early years, pre-school and kindergarten, through secondary and sixth form through to university and vocational education. - The Consejería de Educación de la Comunidad de Madrid authorises UDIT (ESNE) as an Official Centre with the Code 28071760 for the delivery of courses corresponding to the British system, according to the provisions of the Royal Decree 80671993. Likewise, UDIT (ESNE) is an authorised centre for Vocational Training with the centre number 28076459.
- UDIT (ESNE) is recognised by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade as a Research and Development (R&D) Entity by Order ITC/570/2006, assigning it the registration number 0103042006.

Learning by doing
Action-oriented teaching responds to a holistic didactic approach that involves real learner activity in a variety of situations.
Design Thinking
It is the main methodology used by designers. It involves students generating any kind of innovative ideas when creating the image of products or services to best meet the needs of users.
Gamification
It consists of using a playful activity to involve pupils according to the organisation and rules of a game.
Real company cases
Students construct their learning through analysis and discussion of real-life experiences and situations.
Project-based learning
It involves carrying out a group project of a certain size. The projects are studied beforehand by the teacher to ensure that the students will develop all the skills they are expected to acquire.
Cooperative learning
Students work in groups to accomplish tasks collectively so that students are supportive and strive for the common good of the group.

Our main campus is in Madrid, more than 21,000 m² spread over three buildings. In addition, we are expanding with a new campus on Calle Alcalá, which will add 7,000 m² of modern facilities.
