With the imposing hall of the Bilbao Philharmonic Society as the stage, Adriana Ortega, a fourth-year student of the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, and Jaime Cañas and Pedro Infante, alumni of the same, have been recognised as "winners" in this new edition of the "Call For Entries 2023" of the Selected Inspiration Bilbao Bizkaia.
Held on 23 and 24 November, the Selected is an event that brings together some of the most prestigious professionals in the industry, with the intention of sharing ideas and contributing to collective creativity.
Pedro Infante, finalist for his TFG "FORTRIP: The city in 40 cards", proposes a revolutionary approach to travel guides, transforming them into a deck of 40 cards that offer a unique experience for travellers.
On the other hand, Adriana Ortega has been proclaimed winner for her packaging project that uses the Japanese technique of Gyotaku engraving. This ancient technique consists of dyeing fish and molluscs and then printing their mark or relief on rice paper, creating an artistic and authentic packaging that highlights the connection with nature.
"HISPANIX, Jaime Cañas' project, is a sportswear brand with an ambitious social mission. The brand seeks to support the municipalities of Empty Spain through football, giving them a voice and visibility to combat depopulation.
