UDIT participates in the 59th edition of Casa Decor
The students of the Official University Degree in Interior Design and the Official University Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, will participate for the ninth consecutive year in Casa Decor, the largest interior design, design, trends and lifestyle platform in Spain.
The 2024 show will be held at the Palacio de La Trinidad, an iconic site, located at Calle Francisco Silvela 82, which preserves the stately charm of the buildings of the time and thanks to which Casa Decor maintains its identity in the search for the most unique locations in the capital, through which visitors can discover Madrid's rich architectural heritage.
Located in Madrid's Salamanca district, the Palacio de La Trinidad is one of the few private buildings of this category that still remained hidden in the urban area and that, thanks to the exhibition, will be opened to the public. More than 3,600m2 surrounded by gardens, including stately salons, majestic halls, a guest pavilion, grottos and even an oratory.
Its façade is adorned with various neo-plateresque and neo-baroque decorative elements with an Andalusian air: curved corner balconies with canopies, overhanging eaves, pinnacles on the towers, window grilles and, especially noteworthy, its two series of balconies with continuous arches. With a late regionalist style, the Palacio de La Trinidad reflects eclectic influences, especially from Seville, at a time when modern and functionalist architecture was being imposed on new constructions.
Spain's largest interior design, trends and lifestyle platform
Casa Decor will open its doors to the public from 11 April to 26 May, offering a wide range of proposals developed by both established professionals and promising young interior designers.
Participation in this event by students of the Degree in Interior Design and the Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDIT is a great opportunity for, firstly, the possibility of executing a real project and, secondly, for the possibility of interacting with great professionals in the sector while at the same time creating their own network of contacts.
