Scholarships for Vocational Training
What is the MEC Scholarship?
The MEC Scholarship (Ministry of Education and Vocational Training) is a state scholarship managed by the Ministry of Education. It is intended for students in post-compulsory education, such as intermediate or higher vocational training, whether in public or authorised private centres.
General requirements to apply for the MEC Scholarship
- Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain
- Be enrolled in an authorised centre (UDIT FP is one).
- Not exceed the established income and wealth thresholds.
- Fulfil the minimum academic performance (e.g. not repeating a year or passing a minimum number of subjects if it is the second year).
Amount
- Fixed grant linked to income: 1.700€ approx.
- Fixed grant for residence: 2.500€ approx.
- Scholarship for academic excellence: between 50€ and 125€.
- Variable grant: depending on income and average mark. Can exceed €1,000

What is the CAM Grant?
The CAM (Community of Madrid) Scholarship for private vocational training is a specific grant from the Community of Madrid aimed at students enrolled in authorised private centres that offer intermediate or higher vocational training.
General requirements to apply for the CAM Scholarship
- Be registered as a resident in the Community of Madrid.
- Be enrolled in a private centre authorised by the CAM (UDIT FP is one).
- Not exceed a certain family income threshold
- Not have repeated a course or have another qualification of the same or higher level.
Amount
- For Advanced Vocational Training: between €2,212 and €3,500, depending on income.
- For Intermediate Vocational Training: between €2,462 and €3,250, depending on income.

UDIT has reached agreements with Banco Santander to be able to offer its students advantageous conditions.
Get financing to study Vocational Training in 10 monthly instalments with very advantageous conditions. In addition, the financing is compatible with the official Grants of the Community of Madrid for Higher Level Training Cycles.
