Animaweek 2025: Talk with Aitor Esteves

On Tuesday 28 January, the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology once again opened its doors to welcome Aitor Esteves, alumni of the University's Bachelor's Degree in Animation.

In this session organised within the framework of Animaweek 2025 and held in the University Auditorium, Aitor Esteves spoke to the students and participants about his experience of participating in Animaweek for four consecutive years.

Animaweek is an annual event organised by UDIT's Animation Degree, which has been held since the 2018/2019 academic year. For one week, participants work on a one-minute animated short film with a specific theme that is revealed a few hours before the first day of the event.

Participating teams must create an original short film, including music, sound, titles and credits.
