David Hurtado, Head of Innovation at Microsoft Spain, visited the University Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology to interact with the research groups on the topics of Generative AI and Design environments.

In this session, in which topics related to Generative Artificial Intelligence and its application to design environments and other fields related to UDIT's research groups were discussed, David Hurtado emphasised the enormous applicability of this discipline to more traditional fields of research, as well as the need, on the one hand, to understand the mechanism of development of Artificial Intelligence and, on the other, to try to apply it and adopt it as far as possible given its enormous progress worldwide and the need to adapt to changes in order to lead cutting-edge research.

Various research groups from UDIT also had the opportunity to participate in the talk in which they were able to present their points of view and interests regarding Generative AI. This gave the possibility to present different approaches to the topic, depending on the specialisation of each of the researchers who attended the session, so that they could also benefit from these different points of view.

Generative AI is a booming discipline that is crucial to understanding the world's short and medium-term future. Thus, it is essential to be able to count on the support and knowledge of experts like David Hurtado to give a higher quality to the research carried out at UDIT.
