Fabric House holds its annual European showroom at UDIT
Fabric House, the world leader in small-scale fabric sales, has held at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, a new edition of its renowned pop-up Fabric Days.
This showroom represents an international meeting between the different actors of the fashion industry, which gives rise to an experience from which both emerging companies and young designers can benefit, and through which distributors and designers can cooperate during the complete development of a project.
In this edition, the UDIT University Campus has been chosen for the celebration of this meeting between industry and designers, where they could see the fabrics of the season and the most innovative and interesting materials in the sector, always linked to sustainability and circularity.
High-quality, sustainable and environmentally friendly clothing fabrics
Fabric House was founded in 2006 but its origins date back to the 19th century. The sale of fabrics on a small scale, initiated by the Berner family, gave rise to the Berner & Sohn agency, which today is a major trading company for ready-to-wear fabrics throughout Europe. Since small designers often did not have the option of purchasing small quantities of fabrics, Michael Berner, the fourth generation owner of the company, decided to found FABRIC HOUSE. The main objective was to be able to offer high quality ready-made fabrics with a smaller minimum order quantity.
Committed to the environment, Fabric House advocates sustainability beyond the trend, keeping it at the core of its business.
