UDIT researcher among the most influential in Spain according to CSIC ranking

In the framework of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Bárbara Castillo Abdul, principal investigator of the Research Group on Innovation and Digital Transformation of Communication (GITDCom), has been included in the prestigious Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers and in Spain 2025.


This ranking, which recognises the 10,000 most influential women in Spanish science, is compiled by the Spanish National Research Council and aims to give greater visibility and promotion to female researchers from all disciplines and areas of knowledge who work in Spanish institutions.


Castillo-Abdul, among the most influential in Social Sciences, at the head of GITDCom, is dedicated to exploring and redefining the landscape of communication in the digital age, integrating multiple disciplines and approaching communication from a holistic perspective.

This recognition reinforces UDIT's firm commitment to research in different fields through its groups.
