    16:00

On 13 March, at 4 p.m., UDIT will have the privilege of having, once again, the fashion designer Lorenzo Caprile, who will give a lecture on "The history of Chanel" in the university auditorium.

The designer of Italian descent, a great scholar and collector of fashion, will bring the figure of Coco Chanel closer to the students.

Caprile will analyse how the environment in which the famous designer grew up and grew up were decisive in forging an independent, creative, groundbreaking personality, well ahead of her time. The relevance of her transgressive irruption in the world of fashion, and what her comfortable but elegant creations meant at a time when women still dressed in corsets, with long dresses that prevented them from moving comfortably; how she was the forerunner of the little black dress at a time when the colour black was only destined for mourning?

In short, how she changed the world of women through fashion design.
