UDIT Interior Design students present Ágora, their proposal for the 59th edition of Casa Decor.
A total of 95 students from the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Interior Design have participated in the space with which UDIT will be present, for the ninth consecutive year, at Casa Decor, the largest platform for interior design, design, trends and lifestyle, which opens its doors from next Thursday 11 April - until 26 May - at the Palacio de La Trinidad, an iconic location located at Calle Francisco Silvela 82.
For this edition, the students have designed Ágora, a collaborative space that stands as a link between the splendour of classic design and the avant-garde of contemporary design, using innovative techniques that combine craftsmanship and technology, respecting the traditional finish and bringing the classic to the new generations. In this way, a meta-classical meeting point is created, the past and the present come together in a perfect balance, inviting you to explore and discover the timelessness of design.
The project has also used different production techniques ranging from resin and plaster moulding, CNC cutting, 3D scanning, thermoforming and ceramic 3D printing, to more artisanal processes using ash and silicone.
The participation in this event by the students of the Degree in Interior Design and the Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDITis a great opportunity for, firstly, having the chance to participate in the design and execution of a real project and, also, for the possibility of interacting with great professionals in the sector at the same time as they can create their own network of contacts.
UDIT, Casa Decor's university par excellence
For the ninth consecutive year, UDIT is once again taking part in Casa Decor, the largest design, interior design and trends platform in Spain, thus becoming the benchmark university for this event thanks to its track record and outstanding presence over so many editions.
Casa Decor will open its doors to the public from 11 April to 26 May, offering a wide range of proposals developed by both established professionals and promising young interior designers.
The chosen location is the Palacio de La Trinidad, an iconic site situated in calle Francisco Silvela 82, which conserves the stately charm of the constructions of the period and thanks to which Casa Decor maintains its identity in the search for the most unique locations in the capital, through which visitors can discover Madrid's rich architectural heritage.
Located in Madrid's Salamanca district, the Palacio de La Trinidad is one of the few private buildings of this category that still remained hidden in the urban area and that, thanks to the exhibition, will be opened to the public. More than 3,600m2 surrounded by gardens, including stately halls, majestic halls, a guest pavilion, grottoes and even an oratory.
