UDIT participates, for the second consecutive year, in the Science and Innovation Week in Madrid
For the second consecutive year, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology participates in the Madrid Science and Innovation Week, the event promoted by the Community of Madrid through the Foundation for Knowledge Madri+d.
UDIT has joined the celebration of this 24th edition through the organisation of different activities and scientific dissemination events, open to the public, given by different teachers and researchers of the institution, with the aim of bringing science to public spaces, as well as bringing it closer to new groups far from it.
Talks, round tables, film forums... Science and Innovation Week comes to UDIT
Among the numerous activities organised as part of the Madrid Science and Innovation Week, the following stand out: "Micodesign: Interpretation of Nature for Science and Design", developed by the researchers and teachers Montserrat Pichel and Elsa Gil; "Artistic Anatomy: Art to understand science and science to understand art" with teachers and researchers Chloe Sharpe and Eva Santín; round tables such as "IAG Explorers Observatory", with Enrique Villamuelas, in which conflict detection with Generative Artificial Intelligence for spatial design will be debated or the different debate tables, led by researchers and teachers Ana Vicens, Julia Sainz and María del Mar Martínez Oña will be able to share knowledge with the participants on different topics related to the role of women in the field of IAG.
Finally, and also in the context of the Science and Innovation Week, the Mars Week will be held, in which the lecturer and researcher Rafael Conde will hold a round table debate on "The technologies and designs that will colonise Mars" and the also lecturer and researcher Jessica Blanco will moderate a film forum on the film The Martian.
Through these initiatives, UDIT reaffirms its commitment to progress and innovation and highlights the vital importance of encouraging and promoting activities that foster scientific and technological knowledge for the benefit of our society and the environment.
