UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) will be present at one of the major events in the national STEM ecosystem: the final of the ASTI Robotics Challenge, to be held on 10 May in Burgos.

The Fórum Evolución Burgos is expected to be visited by the thirty teams that qualified in the semi-finals held in March in Madrid (UDIT's Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences), Malaga, Zaragoza and Valladolid. UDIT will be represented by four teams, made up of students from the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Full-Stack Development degrees.

In addition, Javier Pascual, director of the International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences of UDIT and Javier Sanz, director of the Department of Product Design and User Experience of the University, will be part of the jury of experts who will evaluate the different projects.

As Javier Pascual explains, "competitions like the ASTI Robotics Challenge not only allow students to put into practice everything they have studied throughout the year, but also awaken STEM vocations that are essential for the technological development of our country".

For his part, Javier Sanz praises the level of the teams that reach the final and points out that "the work done by the UDIT teams is excellent, with very well-founded proposals and a great technical deployment".

The ASTI Robotics Challenge, promoted by the ASTI Foundation, is a benchmark educational programme that encourages scientific and technological vocations through robotics, programming and teamwork. For UDIT, participating in this initiative represents a strategic commitment to the promotion of young talent in key areas for digital transformation and the industry of the future.
