14 students of the Master in Interior Design, winners of the New Design Talent challenge by B&B HOTELS
- The first-placed Marca de Agua project will soon be implemented at the B&B HOTEL Zaragoza Enlaces.
Three projects by students of the Master's Degree in Interior Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, have been selected as winners of the New Design Talent by B&B HOTELS competition, an initiative of the hotel chain in collaboration with the University itself.
The aim of the competition is to support young interior design talents and reinvent the hotel experience from its most iconic spaces: the lobbies. Thus, the chain has set the students the challenge of reinterpreting its Smart Simplicity concept (careful design, functionality and memorable experience) from a fresh and contemporary point of view.
Marca de Agua, the proposal by Daniela Gálvez, Mercedes Masaveu, Ainhoa Montero, Marianna Palacino and Paloma González-Tarrío, has been selected as the winner of the New Design Talent by B&B Hoteles competition and will therefore be implemented in the B&B HOTEL Zaragoza Enlaces.
The project by Victoria Blanco, Sofía Álvarez, Javier Cedeño, Miguel Herrera and Carlos Pérez, Adoquines, has been recognised with the 'Essential Revolution' Mention, for being the proposal most faithful to the brand's values. Likewise, the work of Paulina Acosta, Luz Verónica Cassone, Julieta Lenardón and Paulina Martín, 'RAW', has been awarded the Jury Mention 'Iconic Choice', for being the most disruptive and surprising.
This joint challenge celebrates the emerging talent trained at UDIT and is an unbeatable example of the union between the University and the industry.
