From Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th April we celebrated About Fashion Photo, the Fashion Photography Week organised by the Fashion Department of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology.

During these days, there have been different workshops with the participation of renowned photographers such as Pedro Martínez or Nacho Pinedo, who have shared their knowledge, techniques and experiences with the students of the third year of the Degree in Fashion Management and Communication.

Agenda

  • Monday 28 April - Shooting with Pedro Martínez - Hotel Thomson (Madrid) - 08:00 to 15:00 hours

The Galician photographer specialised in fashion and advertising led this shooting, in which he shared with the students how to prepare a production, from the photographs to the delivery.

Pedro Martínez has worked for magazines such as Fucking Young, Neo2 and Avenue Illustrated and for brands such as Dior, Chanel, Givenchy, Adidas, Nike and Real Madrid.

  • Tuesday 29th April - Shooting with Nacho Pinedo - Daylight Studios (Madrid) - 09:00 to 17:00 hours 

The prestigious creative director, editor and fashion photographer gave a tour of his professional career and offered a personalised guide to the students for their own shooting.

Founder and editor-in-chief of Varon Magazine, Nacho Pinedo has worked for Vogue, NYT Magazine, Süddeutsche Zeitung and El País Semanal and has photographed figures such as Kate Moss, Penélope Cruz, Pedro Almodóvar, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and the Coen brothers.

  • Wednesday 30 April - Student Shooting - UDIT Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences (C/ Alcalá, 506) - 09:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.

During the last day, the students put into practice what they have learnt and photographed some of the designs of the students of the Degree in Fashion Design.

*This activity is aimed at third year students of the Degree in Fashion Management and Communication at UDIT.
