UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has participated in the 11th edition of the International Project Week, organised by the AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and has done so with five students and two teachers from the Audiovisual and Graphic Creation Area .
Juan Carlos Gauli, director of the area, and David Pérez Medina, director of the Master in Graphic Design, have travelled to the Belgian city of Antwerp together with the students Alba del Moral (Bachelor in Multimedia and Graphic Design), Claudia Buezas (Bachelor in Multimedia and Graphic Design), Martina Ruiz(Bachelor in Audiovisual Design and Illustration), Ane Sedano (Bachelor in Advertising) and Laura López (Master in Graphic Design).
There, they have enjoyed a week of work and learning, in which the students have been able to present a series of proposals, on which they have worked during the last month, both through online sessions and autonomous work.
In this way, they have had the opportunity to listen to feedback from teachers from universities such as Saxion University (Netherlands), FH Joanneum (Austria), Oulu University (Finland) and the University of Beira (Portugal), as well as AP Hogeschool itself, and to work on the development of their proposals with colleagues from all these universities, sharing visions, knowledge and an enriching experience.
For their part, both Juan Carlos Gauli and David Pérez Medina participated as teachers, offering a workshop that involved an approach to social design as a tool for change capable of generating the aesthetics and actions of a movement focused on raising awareness of certain issues.
A week in which creativity and teamwork have been the protagonists and which has meant for all the participants a learning plus and a unique opportunity to broaden their vision of design .
