David Alonso, director of the Department of Video Games and Animation at UDIT, participates in a round table on training, digital entertainment and competition, organised by FEJUVES.
David Alonso, Director of the Department of Video Games and Animation at the University, participated as a speaker at a round table on professional profiles in the entertainment industry organised by the Spanish Federation of Video Game and Esports Players and held in the Madrid municipality of Móstoles.
Together with Nacho Chamorro, Secretary of FEJUVES; Carlos Bolívar, Co-founder and CEO of Distrito XR and professional esports player Aidy Garcia, David Alonso had the opportunity to share his vision of the sector and the challenges it faces. At the end of the round table, the speakers were also able to share their opinion on the importance of academic training in the sector versus self-taught experience and the inclusive and diverse space that this industry represents.
UDIT's participation in these types of activities underlines the institution's commitment to the digital generations, emphasising the impact that awareness and training has on youth.
In turn, the University gives continuity to the path of collaboration with FEJUVES, in which both institutions work together developing projects that promote job opportunities in the video game industry.
