"Connected. Energy and Econscience 1970-2023", developed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge in collaboration with Dimad, is an exhibition that brings together a history of government campaigns aimed at promoting environmental awareness.

The retrospective covers government advertising campaigns from 1970 to 2023, simulating two domestic environments and situating certain milestones as innovative references linked to energy efficiency, culminating in a space for debate and reflection.

Javier Sanz, President of the DIMAD Association and Director of the Degree in Product Design at UDIT, University of Design and Technology, participated in the inauguration of this exhibition, whose graphics were designed by David Pérez Medina, Director of the Master's Degree in Graphic Design at UDIT, in collaboration with Endika Zamakona, alumni of the Master's Degree in Graphic Design and Elisa de la Torre Valeriano, alumni of the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Teresa Ribera, 3rd Vice-President of the Government and Minister of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge; Sara Aagesen, Secretary of State for Energy; Miguel González Suela, Undersecretary of State for Ecological Transition and Joan Groizar Payeras, Director of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE).

Connected. Energy and Econscience 1970-2023 can be visited at the Central de Diseño (Matadero) until 7 May.
