The 30th anniversary of the Hobby Awards brings together the country's entertainment and video game sector at UDIT

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has hosted, for yet another year, the Hobby Awards 2023 gala, the awards presented by the Axel Springer publishing group's Hobby Consolas, which recognises the best in the world of video games, platforms, series, films and audiovisual entertainment companies in Spain during the year 2023.

At a gala hosted by the youtuber Tonimcee and attended by the top representatives of the video game and digital entertainment industry such as PlayStation, Nintendo, Microsoft, Netflix and Disney, the audience chose their favourites.

In the HobbyCine area, the winners were:

  • Best comedy and animated series: Loki (Season 2).
  • Best drama, action and horror series: The Last of Us.
  • Best Spanish series: 30 monedas (Season 2).
  • Best series: The Last of Us.
  • Best comedy/animated film: Spider-Man: Across the Multiverse.
  • Best drama/action/horror film: Oppenheimer.
  • Best Spanish film: La sociedad de la nieve.
  • Best film: Oppenheimer.
  • Best streaming platform: Netflix.

In the video game sector, the winners were:

  • Best Gaming Accessory: PlayStation VR2.
  • Best Gaming PC: MSI Stealth 14 Studio A13VG.
  • Best Nintendo Switch Game: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
  • Best PlayStation Game: Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
  • Best Xbox Game: Starfield.
  • Best PC Game: Baldur's Gate 3.
  • Best Spanish-developed videogame: Blasphemous 2.
  • Best Video Game Platform: PlayStation 5.
  • Best company of the year: Nintendo.
  • Best absolute game: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.


In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the HobbyPremios, the different areas of Axel Springer recognised with special awards professionals and companies in the sector such as Netflix, for its communication strategy; Enrique Muñoz, from Paramount, for his professional career or Eva Gaspar from Abylight, with the CEO Insider award.
