The design of two Asturians takes off at the world aeronautical innovation prize
Behind every flight there is much more than engines and turbulence. There is also design, creativity and, of course, young talent. Guillermo Fernández Arias, from Oviedo, and Mateo Magaz Fernández, from Tineo, know this well. Together with three colleagues from the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT), they have reached the top as finalists in the prestigious Crystal Cabin Awards, the "Oscars" of aeronautical interior design, held in Hamburg as part of the Aircraft Interiors Expo, the most influential fair in the sector.
