UDIT researcher Rubén Buren will inaugurate the 15th International Congress of Arts and Humanities of the Autonomous University of Querétaro.
This congress will take place from 21 to 23 October and will be held in mixed mode (face-to-face and on-line ) .
Dr. Rubén Buren, professor and researcher at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, will give a keynote lecture to inaugurate the 15th International Congress of Arts and Humanities at the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Mexico) .
The lecture, entitled Art as radical translation: transversalities, fissures and passages in the contemporary world, will take place on Wednesday 22 October at 10:00 a.m. (Mexican time) -18:00 p.m. (Spanish time)-, and will be followed by a round of questions and answers.
This participation is part of the collaboration agreement signed by UDIT and the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro last June, which aims to promote the development and dissemination of academic and cultural expressions .
A congress with 15 years of history
The 15th edition of the International Congress of Arts and Humanities of the Autonomous University of Querétaro will follow the central theme Transversal Interpretations of Contemporary Art, which will in turn be divided into two axes: transversal intervention and application of contemporary art, and transversal theorisation and research of contemporary art.
This congress, one of the key events of the academic year for the Mexican university, will be held between 21 and 23 October and can be followed both online, via this link, and in person at the Felipe de las Casas Auditorium.
