ESNE collaborates again with Allianz EGO, the platform for young designers at MBFW Madrid
Within the framework of MBFWMadrid, which will be held in the capital from 15 to 19 February 2023, the fourth edition of the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion Award will take place, which will recognise the most sustainable and diverse collection among the new emerging talents of Spanish fashion on this catwalk.As in previous editions, the University of Design and Technology ESNE will be present at this event with the participation of Maruca García Paredes, director of Fashion Area, in the jury of professionals who will evaluate each of the proposals. Along with García Paredes, there will be a representative of MBFWMadrid; Andrés Aberasturi, curator of Allianz EGO, and a relevant figure from the fashion world who, after the presentation of their brand and work, will decide who is the winner of the award, with theaim of supporting and promoting the career of the winner, they will receive an economic endowment of 6,000 euros to present their collection at the next edition of the Allianz EGO catwalk next September. In addition, he or she will be mentored by an ESNE professor who, for six months, will guide him or her and teach him or her how the fashion industry works from a business point of view.
Finally, the winner will also have an active role in the 2024 edition of the international contemporary art fair ARCOmadrid, where they will be able to present the vision and values that guide their brand.In this fourth edition, 15 brands from the Allianz EGO Showroom are expected to participate, including Abelina, APRON, BAMBAM, CRACK, David Moss, DENISE, DIEF STUDIO, ELEBÉ, JUAN VG, KEPEREZAXIKO, KM by LANGE, L'AMAR Contemporary, Lemāchet, MAL Studio Custom Project and TÍSCAR ESPADAS.
