Premiere of the musical theatre play 'Madriz', by Compañía Teatro Bandada

On Tuesday 24 June at 19:00, at the Centro Cultural de Hortaleza (C/ Santa Virgilia, 15), the premiere of the musical 'Madriz', by the Bandada Theatre Company of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, was held.

It is a reflection on the problems faced by Generation Z, such as mental health, housing, gentrification, political polarisation and intolerance, set in the city of Madrid.

This play, written and directed by Raúl San Julián, has the scenography and collaboration of Mariana Rodríguez, student of the Degree in Interior Design, and the music of Lorenzo de Almeida, student of the Degree in Animation, who, together with Raúl San Julián himself, has signed the songs of this original musical tragicomedy.

The Bandada Theatre Company is made up of Anahí Rocha, Lucía Jimeno, Lorenzo de Almeida, Rodrigo "Pax" Valverde, "Anchoa" Villar and Gadea Nadal, from the Degree in Animation; Merilaura Carnero, Mireia Cabrera and Claudia Leopoldo, from the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design and Andrés Infante and José Antonio Reyes, students from the Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments.
