UDEM students move to UDIT for an enriching Summer Programme
With the aim of continuing to foster the good relationship between both academic institutions and to develop and expand the training of the students themselves, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, will receive during the month of June a total of 23 students from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of UDEM, University of Monterrey, belonging to the Degrees of Product Design, Marketing, Interior Design and Graphic Design.
Accompanied by a lecturer from their University, the students will participate in a three-week multidisciplinary Summer Programme on Experiential Design, in which they will be able to attend all kinds of activities, both at the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT and in the city of Madrid itself, as well as enjoying different master classes that will help them to shape their final project.
In this way, UDEM students will receive training in the areas of UX Design, Branding, Visual and Ephemeral Design and Spaces and Materials, among other aspects, all oriented towards the development of this project, which will be monitored by the UDIT teaching team and will be developed in collaboration with the Cool Rooms Hotel, located in the central Calle Atocha.
In addition, students will have a full week to work full time on these projects, being able to use all the facilities of the UDIT campus, including the MediaLab and the FabLab.
Finally, to complement what they have learned in the classroom, they will enjoy activities such as a guided tour of the city of Madrid, a visit to the Matadero cultural complex and an immersive day at the hotel.
A unique experience that will allow them to broaden their knowledge and training, acquire new and multidisciplinary visions, develop an interesting project based on a real briefing and, of course, create indelible memories in a diverse environment brimming with creativity.
