FEELMOTION Week, the prelude to the 12th edition of the University Film Festival Feelmotion
UDIT, University of Design and Technology, is celebrating Feelmotion Week from 9 to 12 May, a week organised by the university film festival FEELMOTION, which aims to discover and celebrate Colombian culture.
With Colombia as the guest country of the next edition of Feelmotion, the UDIT University Campus, thanks to the collaboration of the students of the Degree in Interior Design at the University, will be transformed into the country of Gabriel García Márquez or Fernando Botero; for this, the 6 historical, cultural and natural regions of Colombia (Caribbean, Pacific, Andean, Amazon, Orinoco and Island) will be represented, giving each of them their visual and cultural essence.
Throughout the week, visitors will be able to enjoy authentic Colombian coffee thanks to the Juan Valdez brand, discover indigenous crafts by the clothing and jewellery firm Flor de Cali, as well as tour the country through an exhibition of the most important visual artists from each of the regions and learn about the culture of the original natives.
In addition, there will also be talks, workshops, workshops and screenings that will allow students and visitors to experience Colombian culture in depth and, as a culmination, the MK2 Palacio de Hielo Cinemas will host the screening of the finalist short films of Feelmotion'23 in which, in addition, attendees will be able to vote for their favourite short films.
