The prestigious interior architect Kar-Hwa Ho, Head of Interior Architecture at the Zaha Hadid studio, visited the University Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology to give an exclusive masterclass aimed at all the students of the University.
In this session, organised by the Department of Interior Design, Kar-Hwa Ho was able to talk to the students about her professional career, her experience working in one of the most prestigious design studios on the international scene, as well as about the most outstanding projects in which she has participated during her more than thirty years of experience in the sector.
The work of this renowned architect and interior designer stands out for his exquisite vision of residential interiors, which has allowed him to bring to life projects that have been recognised with numerous awards throughout his extensive career.
Kar-Hwa Ho first worked with Zaha Hadid Architects in 1985, while training at the Architectural Association in London. After completing his studies, he worked on a variety of projects around the world, specialising in interior architecture and retail design.
For eleven years, Kar-Hwa Ho worked at the architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, where he led design teams responsible for the conception, development and execution of mixed-use, commercial and retail projects in countries such as the United States, China, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
In 2014, Kar-Hwa Ho joined Zaha Hadid Architects as Head of Interior Architecture, where he has developed projects such as the Vitra fire station, the Monsoon restaurant and the Infinitus Plaza in the city of Guangzhou (China), among others.
