The Owl Awards are aimed at all educational institutions, brands, creative agencies and non-profit organisations that develop communication campaigns with an educational theme or in the education sector .
Educafestival, an association whose mission is to raise awareness and stimulate brands, agencies and educational actors to make their communication more creative, responsible and efficient, has just made public the list of campaigns nominated for the 6th edition of the Owl Awards. Among them is La Atípica Universidad, by the agency Big Toys for UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology .
The campaign, nominated in the categories Educational Centre - Strategy, activation and brand experience and Educational Centre - Innovation and transformative ideas, is directed by Mikel Ortega, alumni and professor at UDIT, and starring students from the university itself, and reflects the extraordinary character of the University and its community .
Big Toys, the agency behind the campaign, was founded 6 years ago by Mikel Ortega himself and is currently based in Miami and Madrid. Its mission is to help brands such as Netflix, MTV, Nike, TikTok or Amazon Prime to communicate their identity and essence through national and international projects and campaigns, work for which it has already won awards such as Laus, One Show, cdec, AMPE or FFFB (Fashion Film Festival Berlin).
The Owl Awards recognise the best communication campaigns with educational themes, taking into account the following criteria: educational value and content, strategy developed, creativity and innovation, and results obtained .
The winners will be announced on 1 December at an event to be held at Caixaforum (Paseo del Prado, 36 - Madrid).
