The prestigious animator Ángela Iturriza presents her new book, 'Manual de Cine de Animación' (Animation Film Manual), at UDIT.
The teacher of the University's Bachelor's Degree in Animation shared with the students details of the process of writing the book and, of course, of her professional career.
On Tuesday 21 October, the Auditorium of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted the presentation of the new book by the prestigious animator and teacher Ángela Iturriza .
Under the title Manual de Cine de Animación. Cómo construir una película animada: del concepto a la pantalla, the book, published by Editorial Berenice, an imprint of Almuzara Libros, offers a deep dive into the history, techniques and processes that allow drawings to come to life in films, short films or series .
During the event, Ángela Iturriza shared with the audience the process of writing the book, whose cover has been illustrated by Leyre Iturriza. Through an interesting interview conducted by Blanca Bonet, Director of the Degree in Animation at UDIT, the animator also reviewed her professional career, in which mythical works such as Tarzan or Herculesstand out .
A meeting of great value for the students, who also had the opportunity to purchase their copy, ask questions and talk to the author of the book herself .
