The 10th edition of the Interiors Awards, sponsored by UDIT
With the aim of recognising the great talent and dedication of design, art and architecture professionals, and as a sign of firm support for the Interior Design sector, UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, sponsored the 10th edition of the Interiores Awards.
Under the slogan 'Passion for Design', the gala was held at the prestigious Hotel Ritz in Madrid and was opened by Pilar Civis, director of Interiores Magazine, at the beginning of the evening.
The event, hosted by Mar Saura, brought together more than 200 people, among them renowned designers, creatives and major firms from the national scene who, with their work, build and shape a more innovative, ethical and sustainable sector every day.
The members of the jury, formed by the interior designer Pascua Ortega; the architect Benedetta Tagliabue; the architect and developer Juli Capella; Isabel Roig, of Barcelona Design Centre and Barcelona Design Week; the photographer Manuel Outumuro; Ramón Benedito, of the Elisava Foundation; the designer Andreu Carulla; the journalist Joana Bonet and Pilar Civis herself, awarded the following prizes to:
- International Designer of the Year Award to GramFratesi.
- National Designer of the Year Award to Mayice.
- Ephemeral Project Award to Orange Forest by Sigfrido Serra.
- Interior Designer of the Year Award to Beatriz Silveira.
- Career Achievement Award to Óscar Mariné.
- Young Talent Award to Abez.
- Female Talent Promotion Award to Hager.
- Best Sustainable Design Award to Kömmerling.
- Materials Library Award to Material Bank.
- Best Integrated Design Product Award to Santos.
- Best Real Estate Boutique Award to Velzia Homes.
- Best Lighting Collection Award to Vibia.
On behalf of UDIT, the event was attended by Nadia Vasileva, director of the Official University Master's Degree in Interior Design; Rocío Sancho, director of the Department of Interiors; Susana Redondo, coordinator of the Degree in Interior Design and Patricia González, Head of the Department of Communication, PR and Events of the University, who celebrated the event. They celebrated the success and talent of all the award winners, offering their support and reaffirming the close relationship between the Institution and the Interior Design area.
