As every year, London becomes the world capital of design thanks to the celebration of the London Design Festival, an annual event whose concept is the creation of an artistic proposal that promotes the creative activity of the city, with the intention of celebrating design.

With this attractive proposal as a backdrop, a large representation of students from the Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design, the Bachelor in Multimedia and Graphic Design and the Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration from UDIT have travelled to the city of the Thames, where they have been able to visit renowned studios such as Ragged Edge; different museums such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Design Museum or the Tate Modern; as well as emblematic places of the city such as MagCulture, Portobello Market or Hyde Park.

A trip in which they have been accompanied by Juan Carlos Gauli, Director of the Department of Audiovisual and Graphic Creation and Rafael Timón, Area Coordinator.

The students' schedule of activities in London began with a visit to the branding agency Ragged Edge, one of the most prestigious in the city, where Jorge Vega, a graduate in Multimedia and Graphic Design from UDIT, also works, and continued with the first of the cultural visits to the Barbican Centre.

They also had the opportunity to visit the University of the Arts London Campus, where they were welcomed by Angela Michanitzi, creative director, visual communicator and lecturer at UAL for the last 16 years, and where they had the opportunity to participate in a workshop with other students from the prestigious university.

The Victoria & Albert Museum, the Tate Modern Gallery, the Design Museum, the Serpentine Gallery and the Saatchi Gallery completed the students' agenda of cultural activities, complemented by visits to some of the city's must-see places such as Hyde Park and Portobello Market.

Finally, the students were able to discover MagCulture, the leading creative company in the field of magazine creation.
