María Ángela Iturriza, new addition to the teaching team of the Degree in Animation at UDIT
More than 25 years of experience in prestigious international studios such as Walt Disney Feature Animation France, Universal or Warner Bros, endorse his professional career.
María Ángela Iturriza joins the teaching team of the Degree in Animation at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, for the new academic year 2025-2026 .
This renowned animator, storyboarder and producer, with more than 25 years of experience in the sector, has worked in the most important international studios such as Universal, Warner Bros, Don Bluth and Walt Disney Feature Animation France, where she worked for 10 years, being the first Spanish woman to join the company.
Among her most outstanding productions are Tarzan, Fantasia 2000, The Emperor and His Follies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Atlantis, Brother Bear, Runaway Brain, Goofy and Son or Batman: The Animated Series, which have been internationally recognised, with nominations and awards at Oscars and Annies.
In addition, María Ángela Iturriza has a Master's degree in Audiovisual Marketing and Distribution from the Sorbonne University in Paris, has worked as a marketer and has an extensive career as a teacher.
