Numerous institutional, cultural and business personalities attended the UDIT fashion show at MBFWMadrid.
The students of the Degree in Fashion Design at UDIT, University of Design and Technology have presented, at the 78th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week catwalk, their collection "Lo Fugaz" for the next Spring-Summer 2024 season.
A spectacular fashion show, organised for the first time in collaboration with the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, which was attended by Mariano de Paco, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid and Almudena Maíllo, Councillor for Tourism of Madrid City Council, who were received by Rosa Pérez Sánz, President of UDIT, Juan Cayón Peña, Rector of the University and Evelio Acevedo, Managing Director of the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.
Other personalities who attended the fashion show were Reyes Maroto, Councillor of the Madrid City Council and former Minister of Industry, Tourism and Trade of the Spanish Government; Ignacio Sierra, General Director of Grupo TENDAM; Rosalía O'Donnel Baeza, CEO of Telefónica Educación Digital; Cruz Sánchez de Lara, Vice-President of El Español and Julia Sánchez Albeal, CEO of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía.
Also enjoying the creations of the young designers of UDIT were the journalist, designer and entrepreneur Fiona Ferrer; Blanca Pérez Sauquillo, Global Marketing Director of Turespaña and Yutong Fan, Marketing Director of OPPO Spain, among many other guests.
This collection, which is the result of a unique collaboration between UDIT and the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, was inspired by the Impressionist works in the museum's permanent collection.
The 31 designers in the "Lo Fugaz" collection are Anna Martínez, Noemí Escudero, María Alonso, Lucía Borrego, Ainhoa Cadarso, Natalia de Francisco, Isabel González, Federica Nasra, Paula Merino, Mariana Bermúdez, Judit Grau, Pilar Torija, Nahiane Telletxea, Carla Martín, Javier Polo, Celia Canellada, Hugo Pena, Isabel Herrero, Mireia Planas, Darío Molina, María Ascaso, Mercedes Nieto, Elena Cosío, Gema Ruiz, Julieta Portada, Marina San Emeterio, Ana María Sánchez, Natalia Sanz, Isabella Ranger, Alejandro Rodríguez and Salvador Ros.
