Is it necessary to have previous specific training?
No, if you want to study the Degree in Advertising and Branding you can do so without having a specific bachelor's degree, you must meet the entry requirements set out in art.3 of Royal Decree 412/2014, nor have prior knowledge of aspects such as Motion Graphics, web design, editorial design, UX or 3D design ... All our Bachelor's Degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of bachelor's degree that trains you in these areas.
What will you learn in the Official Degree in Advertising and Branding?
The Degree in Advertising and Branding at UDIT is the only official 4-year degree that combines Advertising and Branding in Madrid. A pioneering approach that combines strategy, creativity and brand communication.
During the first year, you will work on the basics of advertising, branding and communication. You will enhance your creativity in artistic drawing and digital design and you will tackle consumer perception with subjects such as sociology, psychology, etc.
During the second year, you will learn a range of techniques to generate and express complex ideas in different media and for different audiences. You will be able to produce effective and imaginative advertising communications.
In the third year, you will tackle different creative techniques, analyse trends and entrepreneurial possibilities, as well as the management and development of 360º projects. You will also apply the contents learned in a real professional environment.
The last course will be the final step for your insertion in the industry, you will learn how to create your own personal brand, and carry out the necessary advertising strategy. In addition, you will learn the tools and techniques necessary to carry out audiovisual projects (editing video, photography and audio) and carry out data and information analysis and management.

What will you be able to do?
You will be able to work in three main areas: advertising, branding and consultancy.
In the advertising area you will be able to work in positions such as creative director, art director, graphic designer, strategic planner, market and trend researcher, among others.
In the branding area, you can work as a brand manager, brand designer, personal brand designer, among others.
In the consultancy area, you will be able to work in positions such as brand consultant, communication and advertising consultant, among others.
Degree in Advertising and Branding at UDIT
You will be trained at a leading university in innovation in the field of education. This degree presents a pioneering approach that until now did not exist in Spain, combining strategy, creativity and brand communication .
During the four years of your degree, you will learn to create advertising campaigns from conceptualisation to audiovisual production. You will launch brands from scratch, developing naming, graphic design, packaging and their promotion on social networks.

At the University of Design, Innovation and Technology you will be able to live unique experiences and develop your talent by participating in creative events and festivals such as Revolumotion, Referentum Talks, Madrid Ilustrafest, Festival Selected, etc. You will also come into contact with companies and industry professionals in workshops, masterclasses and workshops such as the Generative Artificial Intelligence Forum organised by the FEDE (Federation of Advertising and Communication Companies), the visit by Jesús Rasines, Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy, to talk to the students of the University about Suchard's successful advertising and animation campaign "La vida es" (Life is) or the presentations within the framework of Revolumotion by professionals such as Selene Minguito, Motion Graphics Designer, Alberto Luengo, Chief Marketing Officer at Zapiens or Fátima Tamayo, 3D Character Animator, among others.

Do you want to experience Graphic Design before September?
At UDIT's Graphic & Audiovisual Design Camp, you can find out if advertising and graphic design are your vocation. For two weeks, from 30 June to 11 July, you will be able to develop as a graphic and audiovisual creator. The aim of the course will be to create a graphic campaign on one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
