What do I need to study branding? Find out if this career is for you
The world of branding is more alive than ever. In a hyper-connected and information-saturated society, brands are not only competing to sell products or services, but to win a place in people's minds and hearts. To achieve this, they need professionals capable of building coherent, creative and memorable brand universes. If you have ever wondered what you need to study branding and advertising, here we tell you.
What is branding and why is it so important today?
Branding goes far beyond designing a logo or choosing an attractive typeface. It is about building and managing the identity of a brand in all its dimensions: visual, verbal, emotional and experiential.
Today more than ever, brands must connect emotionally with their audience, have a clear purpose, be coherent in all their points of contact and know how to communicate creatively. For this reason, branding has become a strategic discipline, key to any company that wants to stand out, grow and endure.

Although no previous training in design or communication is required to start the degree, there are certain attitudes and skills that will help you get the most out of this career:

- Strategic thinking and an analytical eye
- Curiosity about consumer behaviour and trends
