  • Masterclass by Iván Didrier, indie videogame developer


On Thursday 13 March at 16:00, the Auditorium of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted a new masterclass as part of the "Release Day" session organised by the University's Department of Videogames and Animation.

On this occasion, the indie videogame developer Iván Didrier explained to the students the basics of transforming a game into a multiplayer game. In addition, he taught how games can be created and joined globally, the principles of replication and remote code execution, applying the Unreal Online Best Practices.

Ivan Didrier is an indie game developer with more than 7 years of experience in the videogame industry, specialised in Unreal Engine Online and passionate about multiplayer design and development. Co-creator of titles such as Blood Oath: When The Sword Rises, Didrier has a strong background with previous experience as part of the Google Cloud team. He currently shares his knowledge and experience through one-on-one teaching and continues to explore new opportunities in game development.
