Four projects by students of the Degree in Video Game Design and Development have travelled to the Palacio de Vista Alegre in Cordoba to participate in the Play Cordoba Game Fest event organised by Play Gen in collaboration with the Cordoba City Council.
For three days, the games "Sacramentum", "Tailless", "Boss Lair Manager" and "Sin Slayer" formed part of the stands in the Dev Area of the event, where visitors had the opportunity to try them out and share experiences with the developers themselves.
In the game Sacramentum, designed by Jorge Broncano, Alicia Touris, Noé Rodríguez, Carol Álvarez, Marina López, Mikel Julián Villena, Diego Arboleya and Gabriel Rademakers, the player plays a government archivist who has obtained demonic powers by reading aloud some writings sealed with a fragment of Nergal, the demon that will accompany him throughout the game.
Tailless, designed by Alejandra Bonilla, Andrés Ragot, Carmen Pastrana, Eneko González, Eva García, Hugo Montañés, Ismael Sanz and Olaia Cisneros, is a 3D action roguelike set in a medieval world of fantastic animals and mixed with a dark atmosphere. In it you can play the role of an ajolote shaman in charge of ending the curse of the castle.
Boss Lair Manager is a simulation game designed by Iñaki Cezón, Inés González, Norma Martínez, Álvaro Picó and David Valero about the manager Kasandra, who is in charge of keeping order in the mansion while the Demon King Steve goes in search of the most delicious cake in the world. The players will have to carry out small tasks, cleaning the mansion or talking to characters so that they stop their mischief and the servants get down to work.
Sin Slayer, designed by Fabio Santana, José Antonio Reyes, Diego Fuentes, Alejandro Ferez, Beatriz Vázquez, Carlos Álvarez, Javier Gama and Adriana Nieto, is an action and parkour FPS (First Person Shooter) in which the player will have to enter the cathedral of Pride, in order to take down the power cores of capital sin.
During the event, students had the opportunity to enjoy three days surrounded by some of the most important figures in the sector, as well as participating in different activities and workshops available in the different leisure areas set up.
