Clara A. De Frutos is an art director and concept artist for 2D animation, and is highly specialised in backgrounds and locations for feature films. She has worked on Wolfwalkers (2020) My father's Dragon (2021) and more recently La furgo (2025) and El tesoro de Barracuda (2025), as well as Jasmine and Jambo, la película (2025) where she makes her debut as art director. She is also a comic author and illustrator. Her graphic novel "Vanguardia es una mujer" won the El arte de Volar grant and the revelation author award at the Barcelona Comic Fair (2025). She also specialises in relief engraving, studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in illustration for children's books at the Cambridge School of Art.
