Director of Douglas Leonard Lighting Designers, an architectural lighting design studio founded in 1997 and based in Santiago, Chile.
In 22 years of practice, he has led projects of varying scale and complexity in the hospitality, corporate, educational, commercial and hotel sectors in Chile and Peru, totaling over two million square meters of illuminated areas.
He is a professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), where he served as a director for seven years and served as President in 2020-2021. Douglas holds a degree in architecture from the Universidad Central de Chile and a Diploma in Organisational Development from the Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile.
