Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design.
President of the Madrid Designers’ Association (DIMAD).
He is also a Trustee of the DIMAD Foundation and a member of both the Governing Council of DIMAD and the Governing Council of the Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID).
Recently, he was appointed Board Member, alongside a committee of multisectoral experts, on the Technical Commission of the Network of Industrial Factories, part of the Department of Economy, Innovation, and Employment of the Madrid City Council.
He currently serves as Head of the Product Design – UX Department at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology. Within this context, and always linked to the areas of knowledge transfer and research, he leads university teams in innovation projects in collaboration with multinational companies from diverse sectors. Several of these projects have received major international awards.
Co-author of several patents, he holds a Degree in Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. During his studies, he was a research fellow at the UCM Vice-Rectorate for Research and received the Praemium Europa Universitas-Industria award from the University-Business Foundation, presented by the Spanish Minister of Education and Science.
Since 1996, he has developed his professional career by directing design departments in companies such as Mormedi, Grupo Munreco (Viceroy, Sandoz, and Maurice Lacroix), and the multidisciplinary firm Garza Diviloc. Some of the projects he has participated in have been recognized with awards such as the German Design Award, Good Design, IDEA, iF Award, and Red Dot, among others.
