José Luis Povo Grande De Castilla

Architect by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. He currently teaches Comic and Storyboard II on the Multimedia Design and Illustration Degree. Since 2011, together with the scriptwriter Pablo Herranz, he has been developing the Netcom 2 Editorial comic series "Las aventuras de Miquel Mena", of which the first two volumes have been published to date. He collaborates with the Mil Rayos Association, dedicated to the dissemination of Hergé's work, as a poster designer, author of articles on comic theory for the Association's magazine and a regular speaker at annual meetings. At the same time, he has done illustrations for advertising, private commissions and book covers for the publishers Fórcola and Netcom 2. As a comic populariser, he is the creator of the blog "Mis comics y más", specialising in Franco-Belgian comics, and collaborates in the programme "Nauru" on the radio station of the Jaime I University of Castellón (UJI) with the fixed section "Miradas de cómic".
