Master of Science in Lighting Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (2013) and Master of Architecture at Central Tehran University/Art & Architecture in Tehran (2010). Mahdis has designed several prestigious lighting projects from conceptual design to site supervision and commissioning . At LDC, Mahdis also leads an EU funded research programme (DecoChrom) exploring intelligent daylight design. He started studying Architecture in Tehran, Iran obtaining a degree from Azad University. She continued her studies in lighting design and graduated with a master's degree from KTH in 2013. Mahdis has also worked as a research assistant at the Swedish Institute of Interactivity in Stockholm, where she explored Anthropology of Design, Participatory Design and Social Innovation, which had a vital influence on her research area. She collaborated with the IED between 2019 and 2022 as a lecturer and coordinator of the Master's degree in Lighting Design.
