Architect and urban planner from the University of Santa Úrsula (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), she is the founder and creative director of LD Studio, from where she has led architectural lighting projects in the cultural, corporate, commercial and residential sectors since 1997. She was the first certified designer (CLD) in South America and is a professional member of the IALD, an institution she presided over between 2021 and 2023. She is also a founder of AsBAI and is part of the international committee of the Ibero-American Lighting Design Meeting (EILD). Her work, recognised internationally by numerous awards, is characterised by her exploration of light as a tool for transformation in architecture and human experience.
