Rubén Campillo

Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in Product Design from the National College of Art and Design (Dublin). Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Industrial Modelling from the Escuela de ArteDiez and Higher Technician in Mechanical Manufacturing Design from the IES Virgen de la Paloma. He collaborates actively with the studio Disolventes, and as an independent consultant for Explicit Prods SL.Silver Delta Award from ADI FAD for TAMARAGUA, with Disolventes 22'. Shortlisted for the Arts Thread 22 x Gucci awards, with his Major Project "Afines" and Design Innovation Mention with the product Gryfo in the Griferías Galindo Design Challenge 2018.He has collaborated in social initiatives such as the Supergiz project of the association Autofabricantes 18' designing 3D printing prostheses for children, and Fixperts for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland 19', presented in Producto Fresco. And participated in several AIDI designathons and EDCD events.Major research project on algorithmic modelling and its applications in emotional design. Multidisciplinary interests in design, with forays into speculative design, sustainable design, self-production, design research and maker activities.
