This challenge is aimed at students of the subject Design of Residential Spaces, taken in the 2nd year of the Degree in Interior Design.

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has joined forces with Cocinas Río, a leading firm in the design and installation of luxury kitchens, and Hisense, a leading global technology brand in household appliances and solutions for the home, to present the Living Shared: Design the heart of co-livingcompetition

This competition, aimed at students of the Residential Space Design course, taken in the 2nd year of the University's Interior Design Degree, sets the challenge of designing, in pairs, a shared kitchen and laundry space for a contemporary urban co-living environment. To do so, they will have to make exclusive use of Hisense appliances and Cocinas Río furniture

These projects will have to respond to the specific challenges of collective use: resistance, cleanliness, functionality, storage, sustainability and inclusive design

Among all the proposals, 10 finalist pairs will be chosen, who will present their projects to a jury made up of representatives from UDIT, Cocinas Río and Hisense. The winners will receive a diploma of recognition and two tickets to attend an official Real Madrid match

The Living Shared: Design the heart of co-livingcompetition  is part of the collaboration agreement signed by both brands and the educational institution, which aims to strengthen ties between the university and the business sector, promoting real experiences that allow students to connect with the current challenges of the market

This is an example of the commitment of the three entities to the training of new generations of designers, committed to innovation and university-business collaboration as the driving force to generate solutions that respond to the needs of current and future society
