UDIT launches its new Online Degree in Video Game and Virtual Environment Design and Development
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology will teach, from the next academic year 2025/2026, the Online Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments, a remote mode of one of the flagship degrees of the institution.
This degree is especially aimed at those who want to train in the field of video games and virtual environments in an official way, 100% online and with total flexibility, without sacrificing quality training, updated and with a clear professional orientation.
It is an ideal option for people looking to combine their studies with other responsibilities, as well as for professionals who want to reorient their career or broaden their skills in the fields of programming, interactive design, digital art or technology applied to entertainment.
It also represents an excellent opportunity for young international students who want to gain access to a university of international reference and form part of an academic community connected to the global video game industry.
It is an official four-year degree (240 credits). Students will enjoy a Virtual Campus accessible 24 hours a day, with centralised access to teaching resources, collaboration tools, online assessments and personalised monitoring by the teaching team. In addition, all students will have free access to the following official Adobe certifications -Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere-, an exclusive benefit that significantly enhances professional employability.
As with the on-campus degree, those taking the Online Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments at UDIT will be able to choose between three specialisations: Art, Design and Programming. And they will do curricular internships in renowned companies in the industry. They will also have the possibility of obtaining an additional Specialisation Diploma in Applied AI or Entrepreneurship and Startups.
UDIT, partner of PlayStation Talents Academy and Unreal Academy, thus takes an important step to continue being a leader in training in the video game sector.
