According to the World Economic Forum, 80% of the most in-demand jobs in 2030 will be new. Today's society is constantly changing and the labour ecosystem is no stranger to this. That is why UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology presents today the 'Atlas of the creative professions of the future'. A study that aims to analyse the trends that will shape the future in terms of professional profiles in the creative industries sector and the training required for each of them in the coming years.

Thus, the Atlas of the creative professions of the future prepared by UDIT, in collaboration with the consultancy Prodigioso Volcán, includes the five major trends that are impacting the economy and society and that will boost the current creative professions: sustainability, the rise of the phygital experience; artificial intelligence as an engine for artistic and content creation; the accessible design of digital products and experiences and parameterised life.

For its preparation, more than 500 educational, sociological and labour trends have been compiled and analysed; several focus groups have been carried out with professionals from the academic world as well as a survey of nearly a hundred education professionals.

"Professions are evolving, adapting, transforming and jobs are becoming less and less similar to what we used to know. The training we offer at UDIT has always been characterised by responding to the real needs of the labour market. With this Atlas, once again, we wanted to take a step forward and try to visualise the future of the creative industries by analysing the professional profiles that will define the next generation", said Juan Cayón, Rector of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology.

Based on these macro trends, the Atlas detects a selection of 21 profiles with potential labour demand in the field of design and technology. Each profile includes a justification, as well as the necessary training for each one.

Logo hunters, accessibility gatekeepers, authenticity auditors; automation system design, professionals specialising in generative AI; designers of intelligent spaces or specialists in biophilic design or circular design or a community radar profile are some of the professional profiles in the creative industries with the greatest job potential in the future.
