UDIT receives the visit of numerous international institutional representatives during October
With the aim of establishing and nurturing relationships that promote internationality, the professional team of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has held various meetings with different actors and representative organisations from the educational, cultural and institutional spheres.
In this sense, Roberto Íñiguez Flores, Executive Vice Rector of Academic Affairs of the prestigious Mexican University Tecnológico de Monterrey, who has also recently received the National Design Award in the category of Academic Career, has visited UDIT and has been received by José Luis Olazagoitia, Vice Rector of Research; Verónica Meléndez, Director of International Relations and Institutional Accreditation; Javier Sanz, President of DIMAD and Director of the Department of Product Design; Delfina Morán, Director of the Master in User Experience; Rocío Sancho, Director of the Department of Interiors and Rafael Timón, Coordinator of the Department of Audiovisual and Graphic Creation at UDIT.
In this meeting, Íñiguez Flores was able to participate in a working session that served as a continuation of the excellent years of relationship and exchange of ideas and projects between both educational institutions, thus reinforcing the creation of joint programmes and the development of agreements that benefit the students of both centres.
Richard Bandera, Commercial Counsellor of the Austrian Embassy in Spain; Erkin Toraman, Economic Delegate; Carolina Martín, Business Development and Eva Deible, Key Account Manager, also from the Austrian Embassy in Spain, visited the University, accompanied by Verónica Meléndez, Director of International Relations and Institutional Accreditation, with whom they had the opportunity to visit the University's textile technology workshop.
This meeting opens up a range of opportunities for future collaborations between institutions, as well as with other academic and technological centres in Austria.
Finally, other visits were received, such as that of the Ambassador of Monaco in Spain, Catherine Liliane Dominique Fautrier, who was also able to visit the UDIT Campus with the aim of establishing relations of cooperation and collaboration between both institutions; Luis Badillo, Dean of Architecture and Design of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico; the visit of Leoncio Monjarás, Director of International Relations of the Guadalajara Campus, Mexico and the visit of different Guatemalan representatives, on the occasion of their participation as guest country in the Ibero-American Design Biennial of DIMAD.
